If you’re a fan of the southern soulful vocals of Miranda Lambert and Ashley McBride and the raw, poetic storylines of Morgan Wade and Zac Bryan, you’ll love the soulful, no-frills sound of up-and-coming singer/songwriter Mallory Everett. Hailing from Northeast Arkansas, Mallory has been crafting and performing her own music for years. Her YouTube channel, with performances dating back to 2019, shows that she’s been talented from the very start.

Born and raised on her family’s rice and soybean farm, Mallory knows the value of hard work. Balancing a day job while building her music career, she’s carved out a name for herself with her gritty southern sound and gift for heartfelt songwriting. Her authenticity resonates deeply, creating a connection that feels as personal as it is powerful.

In 2017, Mallory dropped her first EP, Arkansas, and she hasn’t stopped since – writing and releasing singles that bare her soul. Songs like Identity, Dyin’ Breed, and the heart-wrenching She Chose the Bottle from her 2024 album, Time to Learn, reveal a songwriter unafraid to tell hard truths.

With Time to Learn, Mallory takes her artistry to a whole new level. The album opens strong with Family Curse, a hard-hitting track with just the right amount of southern soul and grit. It’s the kind of song that feels equally at home in a backwoods dive bar or raising the roof of a packed arena.

From there, she pulls listeners into the heart of her storytelling. Intimate tracks like Keep on Learning You offer quiet moments of reflection, while 20 Me – a love song dedicated to her younger self – brings raw emotion to the forefront. For anyone nursing heartbreak, Wasn’t Lying delivers the perfect anthem. Meanwhile, Worth a Damn shifts gears with a smooth, soft rock vibe, showcasing Mallory’s versatility. Of course, She Chose the Bottle, stands out as a centerpiece – a brutally honest portrayal of her complicated relationship with her mother, as she sings, “I needed my momma, but she chose the bottle.”

Mallory’s on the road now, performing across the country and proving, with every show, that she’s got the kind of talent and presence that captivates audiences, no matter the venue.
