In 2015, Bryan uploaded a video of himself performing an original song called Heading South. It was nowhere near a polished, professional production, filmed with his camera phone, in a private corner of some military base. But this didn’t take away from the true display of musical talent. A song about chasing your dreams against all odds, it spoke to country music fans and viewers from all over and the video went viral.
Heading South was, by no means, a one-hit-wonder. Bryan continued to upload music, connect with listeners, and build a loyal fan base through his Youtube videos. Bryan received his first, well earned, Grammy nomination for Best Country Solo Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards for Something in the Orange.
In 2024, Bryan has released five studio albums, one live album, three extended plays, and eight singles, solidifying his position as one of country music’s most exciting and dynamic voices.
